New Zealand refused to play cricket series in Pakistan
The PCB had requested New Zealand to play Pakistan series, which New Zealand rejected Tuesday after consulting officials.
The New Zealand Cricket Board has forgiven sending its team to Pakistan.
“New Zealand cricket” Greg Barclay says that consultations were played in Pakistan, but security reports are unsatisfied with being unsatisfactory.
Greg Barclay has said that this decision will not be happy for Pakistan but we hope that Pakistan will try to understand the reasons for this decision and our decision will be acceptable, that we are very hopeful.
New Zealand’s invitation to visit Pakistan was given by the National Cricket Board (PCB).
The series between the two countries is in the United Arab Emirates in October, under which three tests, three one-day matches and three T20 matches are played.
However, the PCB had moved to T20 series to play Pakistan from New Zealand to play series, which New Zealand rejected Tuesday after consulting officials.
New Zealand visited Pakistan in 2003 for the last time. During this tour, a bomb was exploded outside of the hotel’s star hotel in Karachi, where guests were members of the guest team. After the blast, the New Zealand team ended their tour in the middle and returned home.
